Since 2009, Tomoi Summers (1987) has been working in high-end TV drama, commercials, music promos and feature films.
Over the years he has assisted and learned from the likes of Si Bell BSC, Suzie Lavelle BSC ISC & Sam McCurdy BSC ASC along with many others. Together with his technical knowledge from his years working his way up through the camera department, he likes to take a considered approach in pre-production, and be efficient in his execution on set.
He is comfortable in single & multi-camera situations and is always looking for ways to adapt to any given environment to craft engaging imagery, with budget, schedule & effective storytelling in mind.
His films have been screened at Oscar, BAFTA & BIFA Qualifying festivals globally, and he has been trusted to shoot for high-end clients such as Disney, Hulu, BBC, ITV, Columbia Records, Sony Music, Dyson, Lego, Meta, Hewlitt-Packard & Bandai Namco, among others.
Tomoi is also a father of two, a very bad guitarist, and makes a mean lasagne.
